Gazi University Overview

Gazi University was established in 1926 during the era of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk in Ankara under the name “Gazi Institute for Teacher Training.” In 1982, it merged with several other academies and colleges to become a comprehensive university. Today, Gazi University includes 15 faculties, 9 vocational schools of higher education, 26 research centers, and 6 graduate institutes.
