İnönü University Overview

İnönü University is a prominent public university located in the city of Malatya, Turkey. It was officially established on January 28, 1975, by the Turkish Grand National Assembly and ratified by the presidency on March 25 of the same year. The university began its academic activities in the 1976–1977 academic year and initially operated in the current Science High School building in Malatya until 1984. Today, İnönü University hosts around 30,000 students and comprises 13 faculties, 4 higher education schools, the Turgut Özal Medical Center, and 19 research and application centers. The main campus is located approximately 10 kilometers from the city center and provides a wide range of educational, research, and healthcare services to both domestic and international students.
