Yes. ISTÜN offers several programs taught entirely in English, especially in Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. In addition, some programs in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences are also available in English. This allows international students to pursue a high-quality education without needing Turkish proficiency. However, many health sciences programs such as Nursing, Physiotherapy, Audiology, and Nutrition are taught in Turkish, so students should check the specific language of instruction for their chosen program.
ISTÜN does not currently provide its own on-campus dormitories. However, its central location in Beyoğlu (Sütlüce) means students have easy access to a wide range of private dormitories and student residences nearby. These dorms typically provide modern facilities such as furnished rooms, cafeterias, study lounges, gyms, and 24/7 security. Many international students also choose to rent apartments in nearby districts like Kağıthane or Şişli for more independence.
Yes. Clinical practice is a core part of ISTÜN’s health-related programs. While the university does not yet have its own full hospital, it collaborates with partner hospitals, clinics, and research centers in Istanbul to ensure students gain hands-on experience. Additionally, the former Topkapı campus is being converted into a medical training center, which will further strengthen opportunities for internships, applied training, and clinical education. Engineering and technology students also benefit from industry collaborations for research and internships.

While the campus itself is not very large, its central location offers easy access to Istanbul’s cultural, historical, and social hubs. Students enjoy nearby cafes, restaurants, shopping centers, and public transport. Campus life is supported by student clubs, counseling services, career guidance, and wellness programs, creating a balance between academic study and vibrant city living.
