Necmettin Erbakan University was established in 2010 in the city of Konya, located in southwestern Turkey. Named after the renowned engineer and political leader Necmettin Erbakan—who served as the Prime Minister of Turkey between 1996 and 1997—the university has grown to become a respected institution of higher education in the country.
