Associate degrees in Türkiye are offered by Higher Vocational Schools (Turkish: Meslek Yüksekokulları) and provide students with focused, career-oriented education over a two-year period.

Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)
Credential: Pre-bachelor’s associate degree

Public and Private Institutions
Most state universities operate vocational schools within their institutional structure.
In addition, several foundation (private) universities also run Higher Vocational Schools, often with more flexible admission criteria and modern facilities.
Currently, 8 vocational schools are affiliated with foundation universities.
