This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies (local storage, pixels, tags) used on StudyinTurkiye.com, operated by Sit Consultancy LLC, as required by KVKK and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority's Guide on Cookie Practices.
We use cookies other than strictly necessary ones only with your explicit consent. The cookie notice offers "Accept all" and "Essential only" equally, and closing it counts as choosing essential only.
1. Strictly necessary (no consent needed)
Needed for the site to work and to provide the service you explicitly ask for; processed under KVKK Art. 5(2)(c) and (f).

2. Preferences you ask for (on your device)
Written to your browser's local storage only when you save a programme or choose a view or currency; never sent to us.

3. Analytics and advertising (only with your explicit consent)
None of these load unless you choose "Accept all". A Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser counts as a refusal. With your consent, browser and server events are also sent to measure which campaign brought you; your message text and documents are never included in them.

4. Third-party content
- Indicative currency rates are refreshed through api.exchangerate-api.com after the page opens; this sends your IP address and browser details to that provider, without application documents.
- Google Maps: maps do not load until you click "Show map" or accept analytics and advertising cookies; once loaded, Google may use its own cookies.
- YouTube: on the Watch page, video thumbnails load from YouTube's image servers (i.ytimg.com, Google) when the page opens, and those servers receive your IP address and browser details. Selecting a video opens it on YouTube in a new tab, where YouTube's own privacy terms and cookies apply.
- Mr. SIT chat assistant: served by our own systems at chat.sitconnect.net; when you start a chat, what you write is processed to answer your enquiry.
5. How to change your choice
Newly described optional session recording and automatic maps require a fresh Accept all choice for the current notice. Essential only withdraws that permission; explicitly requesting a map is a separate choice.
Use the cookie icon in the corner of the page or the "Cookie settings" link on this page at any time. Switching to "Essential only" stops new analytics and advertising measurement from this browser and deletes the campaign details this site stored. It does not withdraw the advertising-measurement consent recorded with an enquiry you already sent; to withdraw that, or to ask for that data to be erased, write to privacy@sitconnect.net. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop some features working.
