Whether you are a university student in Türkiye or abroad—or simply looking for personal enrichment—summer programs at Turkish universities offer an excellent opportunity to gain academic credit, broaden your experience, and explore a new culture.

Academic Enrichment & Credit Transfer

Many universities in Türkiye offer summer school courses during the June to August break. These programs typically run for 6 to 8 weeks and are open to both Turkish and international students. Most courses are credit-bearing and may be transferred to your home institution, depending on your university’s policies.

Popular course areas include:

  • Management and Marketing

  • Social and Political Sciences

  • Humanities and Cultural Studies

  • European and International Studies

  • Economics, Finance, and Mathematics

  • Literature and Philosophy

  • Project and Operations Management

  • Manufacturing Systems and more

Study, Explore, and Experience Türkiye

Summer programs in Türkiye provide a rich blend of academics and cultural immersion. Students not only gain international classroom experience but also enjoy the unique opportunity to explore a country where East meets West.

During the program, students are granted temporary student ID cards which allow access to campus libraries, facilities, and student services. Universities also organize a range of social, cultural, and recreational activities to make the summer experience even more rewarding.

International Collaboration

In addition to local summer schools, some foreign universities organize joint summer programs in collaboration with Turkish partner institutions, offering further global exposure.

Make the Most of Your Summer

Earn university credits, meet students from around the world, and explore the vibrant culture of Türkiye—all during your summer break.

  1. My name is Suhailah Salim Nahdi, an undergraduate student at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Indonesia majoring in Development Economics. I am preparing to apply for the UNS Global Challenge 2026, and I am looking for a short-term study or exchange program (approximately 14–30 days) between March and June 2026.

I would like to ask whether your university offers any short-term courses or exchange opportunities for international students during that period.

Additionally, could you please provide information regarding the approximate tuition fee or participation cost for such programs?

Thank you very much for your time and assistance.
